Thread Rolling
Due to the increasing need to rationalize and improve production methods, the thread rolling process has become essential in any modern production plant that wants to operate efficiently.
For this reason, over the years TFA has gained specific expertise in this cold deformation technique, characterized by the fact that the material is stressed beyond its elastic limit, thus remaining deformed. During the thread rolling process the fibers of the metal are moved, but not cut, and therefore no shavings
are released that ruin or dirty the initial finish of the material.
Riveting to Roll
Over the years TFA has developed specific expertise in the most modern two-dimensional and threedimensional deformation riveting procedures, making it possible to perform assemblies that were previously only possible through other techniques or on materials that were previously known as non-deformable.
The company can work both on curved pieces and on pieces that have asymmetrical shapes, performing several types of riveting operations.

Pneumatic Pressing
TFA has also specialized in the processing of materials through pneumatic presses.
The operation of a pneumatic press is similar to that of a manual press, with the difference that in this case the manual action of the operator is replaced by the action of a pneumatic cylinder.
Unlike manual presses, pneumatic presses offer greater strength, are more precise, versatile and efficient and are ideal when it is necessary to assemble large series.
Ad Hoc Greasing and Bonding
The development of increasingly performing greases and glues has made it essential to develop skills and systems capable of guaranteeing the correct dosage of any type of fluid, to be carried out in a repeatable, adjustable and objectified manner.
This is why TFA has specialized in the use of the widest range of greases and glues of different origins (also compliant with food regulations) and equips its machinery with the most advanced instruments for automated dosing of fluids, with the aim of guarantee precise and uniform deposits, repeatable over time, with minimal mess and waste, for an accurate and long-lasting finished product.
Identification with Laser Print
Companies operating in the industrial sector may wish to imprint some type of information in the product (such as production batch, but also expiration date, production date or article code). This data are essential for product traceability, as they ensures that it can be monitored throughout all stages of production, processing and distribution.
This is why TFA has equipped its machinery with sophisticated laser printers, capable of impressing the information desired by the customer on the finished product in an automatic, extremely accurate way and on the widest range of materials, using inks designed to withstand even the most hostile production environments.
